Fish in the morning, snorkel in the afternoon. Best of both worlds — Carlos handles everything.

We'll pick you up at your hotel, take you where the fish are, and send you back with memories and a cooler full of fresh catch.
Carlos picks up your group directly on the beach in front of your hotel — no taxi, no hassle. He covers the full stretch from Playacar to Punta Esmeralda, so wherever you're staying, he's got you.
High-quality rods, reels, fishfinder, livewell. Everything you need, nothing you don't.
The crew prepares ceviche right on board with what you reel in. It doesn't get fresher than that.
No strangers on your charter. Just your group, the water, and Carlos who knows exactly where to go.
Depending on the season, these are the species you can expect offshore.
"These are my waters. I know where they feed, where they run, and when they bite."
Carlos has been fishing the Riviera Maya for over 15 years. He knows the currents, the seasons, and the spots that most charters never find. That's the difference when you fish with someone who actually grew up here.
He speaks your language (English and Spanish), communicates before the trip, and makes sure every guest comes home happy. The fresh ceviche on board? Carlos's idea. Everything on La Chulada is there because he thought about what makes a day on the water genuinely great.
Carlos replies fast. Tell him your dates, how many people, and what kind of trip you're looking for — he'll take it from there.

Do I need fishing experience?
Not at all. Carlos and his crew help beginners and experienced anglers alike. All trips are suitable for first-timers and families.
How many people can come?
La Chulada accommodates up to 5 guests. All charters are private — just your group, no strangers.
What should I bring?
A hat, comfortable shoes, and your camera. Everything fishing-related is provided on board.
🪸 Going snorkeling? Use reef-safe sunscreen.
Regular sunscreen contains chemicals that damage coral reefs. If you're joining a snorkeling trip, please bring a Coral Reef Safe sunscreen — mineral-based (zinc oxide or titanium dioxide). It protects both you and the reef.
What if the weather is bad?
Carlos monitors conditions closely. If the sea isn't safe, we'll reschedule — your trip will happen.
Can we keep our catch?
Yes! The crew will clean and fillet your fish dockside. Many guests bring their catch to a local restaurant to have it cooked.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible, especially in high season (Dec–Apr). WhatsApp Carlos to check availability and hold your date.
